Richard Jarvis – CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Richard has always trained for as long as he can remember. He has trained in a normal gym using resistance machines and running on a machine like a hamster. Richard has run marathons but always hit the wall! He’s even tried triathlons, but would sink more than swim. A few years ago he found CrossFit and has finally found “his sport”. Now in his 40’s, with a physically and mentally demanding day job, thanks to CrossFit, he admits that he is able to deal with the daily challenges that his job entails and is stronger and fitter than he has ever been.

Richard worked as a diving instructor in Asia, an instructor in his day job and he has a teaching qualification, so it was a natural step for him to do the CrossFit Level 1 Trainer course. Richard is now in the privileged position of being able to coach people in the sport that he loves and loves watching people develop in the sport and get a real buzz having helped them along the way.
